Igniting Creativity with Our Students
Student members of Arts and Crafts Club (grades K-5) and Art Club (grades 6-12) participate in a variety of activities, including completing projects, experimenting with different techniques, discussing and critiquing peer submissions, and showcasing their own unique personal expressions and perspectives of the world. In April 2024, Connections Academy hosted an "Art for Humanity & Peace" contest, spearheaded by a student in Student Advisory Council and Art Club. It aimed to harness the power of art to promote awareness, empathy, and a deeper understanding of the global efforts to prevent nuclear conflicts, echoing the humanitarian mission of the American Red Cross.
